Pets need a Vacation, Too!
Pets are welcome in all of the cabins and lean-to!
- Pet Fee (non-refundable): $150
- Maximum # of pets: 1 per rental
- Pet-Friendly Units: all cabins and lean-to (sorry, pets aren't welcome in our suites)
- Let us know about your pet before you arrive: all pets must be accounted for in advance, at the time the reservation is made - it is unacceptable to arrive without previous permission and reservation for a pet
- What to bring -
- Doggy bags: pet owners must clean up after their pet (obvs)
- Leashes: all dogs must be on a leash when outside the rental. Pets can be very territorial when in an unfamiliar environment. Pets must be controlled by their owners in order to ensure safety of all guests.
- Doggy bed: fido isn't allowed on the furniture, sorry. Cleaning fees will be withdrawn from your security deposit if it is determined that pets have been allowed to romp and roll on the furniture and/or excessive dog hair has to be cleaned.
- Pets cannot be left alone on the property: when guests leave the rental, pets must go with you. Pets will be in an unfamiliar environment which requires reassurance and comfort, as any child would. Guests who leave pets unattended will be asked to leave and will forfeit any monies, including rental fee paid for the duration of the reservation as well as security deposit.
- Unnecessary barking is disallowed: noise travels very clearly across open waters. Please try to help others enjoy the peaceful serenity of the Adirondacks.
- Immunizations must be up to date: bring your pets record; we'll ask to see it upon arrival
- Flea & tick treatment pro-tip: apply prior to arrival to ensure it takes effect (you'll be in the woods and the Adirondacks do have fleas/ticks!)
- Pet Sitting: pet sitting services can be arranged but advance reservation is required; pet sitting requests upon short notice are very difficult to accommodate.
