Many guests wouldn't miss the scenic routes to our location - get on the open road and enjoy it! GPS users - entering 1150 Kiwassa Lake Road in GPS devices may direct the route to a property close by. We are at the dead end of the road. If you don't see the sign for our property, keep driving! Directions from Saranac Lake:
1. Heading south out of the Village of Saranac Lake at the traffic light next to the Town Hall (on your right), go through the light and over a small bridge - turn left.
2. Continue about a mile and bear left (Kiwassa Lake Road on your left, Glenwood on your right).
3. Down the road a few minutes, you'll bear left at the tree with many name signs (pictured here, to the right!)
4. Check-in is at Cochran's Cabinsat the dead end - #1150. If you don't see our property sign, you haven't gone far enough - keep driving!

By Air

Commercial Flights: The Adirondack Regional Airport (SLK) provides access to and from the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of Northern New York and is just 15 minutes from our property. Daily commercial service to and from Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts via Cape Air.

Private Flights:
Fly-in, land on our lake! If you choose to do so, please contact us directly to map out your flight pattern.
Lake Placid Airport (AIRNAV: KLKP): Charter for hire; also provides hanger service by the day, week, etc…

By Train

Amtrak offers an Adirondack route that generally runs once a day in each direction (north/south). The northbound train leaves Penn Station (New York City) early in the morning and arrives in Westport, NY (approximately 45 minutes from our property) in 8 hours or so. This method of travel is a great option for guests wanting scenic views and a relaxing ride. Once you arrive at the Westport train station, a shuttle can be arranged, at an extra cost, to bring you to our property.
